About PATT

Pupils’ Attitude Toward Technology (aka PATT), which derives its name from a study begun in The Netherlands in 1984, is to determine the attitude toward and concept of technology held by students aged 12-15 years. PATT is an international community scholars and researchers whose mission is to generate and share knowledge and skills about design, technology and engineering education. The annual conference of the community is the PATT Conference, which brings together scholars, researchers, authors, students and teachers of design, technology and engineering from all over the world. A series of countries and regions have been held this international conference, such as Liverpool (PATT40), Newfoundland (PATT39), Finland (PATT38), Malta (PATT37) and Ireland (PATT36). The 2024 conference will be the 41st event in the history of PATT.
